2025 HDR Scholarship on Structural Dynamics and Vibration Control of Offshore Wind Turbines
Curtin University
About the Scholarship
One PhD student scholarship is available in the Centre of Infrastructural Monitoring and Protection (CIMP), School of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at Curtin University, Australia. The successful candidate will work with Dr Haoran Zuo on his Australian Research Council DECRA Fellowship project “Next-generation floating hybrid offshore wind-wave energy conversion system” along with Professors Wensu Chen and Hong Hao. This project aims to integrate floating offshore wind turbines and wave energy converters to capture wind and wave energy. The hybrid system’s dynamic responses will be investigated and advanced vibration control technologies will be developed. This scholarship application is open until filled.
