Breaking New Ground Scholarship

Before applying, students should make sure they meet the following qualifications. An applicant must: Be a first-generation college student Have a proven record of maintaining a job while in high school Be committed to pursuing a degree at a two- or four-year college or university Be at least 17 years of age Be a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S. This scholarship is intended to award students who demonstrate excellence in the classroom, community, and on their campus. Applicants should be interested in pursuing a career in business, transportation, or liberal arts and sciences.
